We have a limited supply of dinged and dirty nursery flats.
While completely functional and almost as good as new, we’ve discounted these slightly marred nursery trays at a 30% discount.
Most of these trays suffered minor cosmetic damage on the long boat trip over from Japan. None of the damage is structural or should weaken the tray significantly.
Our loss, your gain!
When they are gone, they’re gone.
Nursery flats hold the paper chain pots during seeding and germination. The flats give structure to the paper chain pots while providing drainage via bottom holes. These flats are a REQUIRED component of the paper pot system.
The flats can also be dually purposed used as microgreen flats. This may be a better long-term solution for someone who is going through a lot of thinner walled germination flats.
Flats are made from a PP/PE blend of plastic. They are 99% PP and have 1% recycled PE blended into them. The plastic code is #5 which is considered food safe and is BPA FREE.
Flats are sold in packs of 10, so it’s 10 flats for $65.
Nursery Flat Dimensions:
Inside – 22 7/8″ x 11 1/16 x 1 3/16″
Outside – 23 3/4″ x 12″ x 1 3/8″
Note: These nursery flats have about 22% more growing space than a standard 10/20 flat, so factor that into your calculations when planning on how many trays you need.
Our nursery flats are heavy duty and should last a lifetime. The trays are much thicker and more rigid than a conventional thin walled 10/20 nursery flat.
