This 30″ tine rake is great for removing thread stage weeds from your crops. Unlike colinear hoes and other forms of cultivation, this rake doesn’t require a back and forth motion. Simple pull the rake down a row and let the wire fingers do all the work. The wire fingers dislodge and disrupt tiny weeds while wiggling around and through your crop. It can be used for direct-seeded or paperpot transplanted crops.
The tine rake works best in heavier, clay soils than lighter sandy soil.
For best results be sure to make sure that your cash crop is firmly rooted before using the tine rake.
The rake is sold unassembled and without a handle but can accept the most common garden handles found at stores like Home Depot. Assembly is simple and should take around 30 minutes.
